Description:

Order: Asterales > Family: Asteraceae. A beautiful flower that lasts at best a day that grows from a leafless, narrow stem often growing to 3 feet tall. THis was seen on a roadside in a scrub habitat and the passing cars gave these a windswept look and making photos a challenge still they wouldn't stand still.
