Leopard Moth

Description:

A large white Leopard Moth, about 3 cm in length. The wings and thorax are covered in pale brown circles and the abdomen is a striking metallic blue with orange. It had fallen to the ground under a light and was dying.

Habitat:

Garden in the center of the city of Oaxaca.

Thank you Kenabear and Neil. I suppose this is the Giant Leopard Moth, although the circles are usually black in that species.
