Larus argentatus
Large white-headed gull, reaching up to 60cm in length. Light grey wing covers and back, rest of the body white. This specimen looks like a juvenile just coming with its adult feathers - the tip of its bill still dark brown, and its juvenile feathers are still partly visible under the wing covers, towards the tail.
Seen in harbor of a small tourist and fishermen village on Atlantic coast in Normandie.
