Description:

Very small wasp. Shiny black head and thorax with white rimming the eyes. White spots on thorax near wing base and one central white spot at base of thorax. Abdomen orange transitioning to black. Front two pair of legs orange. Hind legs have black and white banding. Wings clear with a black and white spot.

Habitat:

Suburban garden.

Notes:

The larvae of this species feed mainly on Syrphid Fly larvae.
