Common toad

Description:

Toad with stocky and sturdy body. Skin with warts and with big glandes at the two side of the neck, called paratoides. The colour of the back is dull and uniform, mainly brown, red or gray verge on olive green. Stomach is dirty white. The eardrum is little.The eyes are yellow and have a horizontal pupil. The male is 10 cm long, female about 15 cm.

Habitat:

It lives on different habitat on the ground. In reproduction period it goes in ponds and puddles of water.
