Thomisus sp.
A spider with white abdomen and eyes with a yellow mask. There is a beginning of a pattern on the abdomen. A well-fed spider will have a full and rounded abdomen. The prey is a Schrub Hopper.
Overgrown abandoned area.
I'm not familiar with the Thomisus species of the Philippines but the eyes on tubercles made me think that's what it was. Wouldn't the angular appearance of the abdomen disappear in a female full of eggs? That can happen with other species.
Thanks for the suggestions Võ Anh Tuấn and AlanThornhill. If you look closely at the abdomen of my spotting, you will see that it is almost round. The Thomisius sp. in the Philippines have a more flattened and angular abdomen.
So I will still have the scientific name open.
