Description:

About .5" when in this position it is very thin and narrow. Front legs lighter color then the back legs. Snout has feathery look, light grey eyes. Wings are straw colored to blend in well. Sprinkle of spots and one dot. Faint lines down the wings ending with darker edging. When the moth landed on the grass it walked backwards up til it hit the snag.

Habitat:

Spotted among dry grass on a hillside not far from salt ponds.
