Crab spider; Araña cangrejo

Tmarus staintoni

Very rare crab spider. Tmarus staintoni is a crab spider that belongs to the Thomisidae family. Usually is found on little tree twigs on which it is very well camouflaged. However, I found it here, on a very yellow inflorescence were it was much easier to see.

On Thapsia villosa inflorescence. Evergreen oak and pine tree forest.
