mint green leafhopper

Description:

tiny pale mint green leafhopper

Habitat:

on boneset and joepye weed in a garden

Notes:

These are so super abundant on all leaf surfaces all day. Small damselflies are hunting them effectively. This color morph and a lime green color morph occur, the lime green is more common. I do not know if they are the same or different species.

Same species as your lime green hopper! The black dots on the nose help to identify. :-)
