Yes, I think you must be right. Arum seems like a possibility. Maybe something like Arum maculatum, common in northern Europe ... but I'm just guessing. Interesting, it will be fun to see what it turns out to be!
It looks like same but i think it is different..
It looks like Jack-in-the-Pulpit, Arisaema triphyllum, which is native to North America ...
