Common Clownfish

Amphiprion ocellaris

Description:

Small fish with large stripes of orange and white. This fish swims back and forth using the back fin for speed and the two fins on the side for direction. This fish has rounded fins with black coloration on the tips.

Habitat:

Reef or sea anemone

Notes:

Found this little guy in a restaurant aquarium. He is a captive fish. Clownfish have a symbiotic relationship with the sea anemone they call home. They both benefit from each.
