Description:

Α Red valerian -white form, spotted bloomed in Koukourava stream, near Makrynitsa village, Pelion mountain, Greece. About 10% of individuals plants flourish in white color, along the more usual red and purple/pink forms. The species is a Greek endemic, and a very common wildflower.
