Orchid family. Yellow flowers on a single large yellow petal surrounded by 4 brownish purple twisted petals. Basal leaves with many deep parallel veins: smaller stem leaves alternate the stem.
Spotted on County 29 near Pine Lake near the damp deciduous woods.
