My Aunt Mary took this picture in her backyard and allowed me to use it. She doesn't know what kind of bird it is either.

mississippi kite for sure swallowtails don't look anything like this…. especially in the eyes and tail.
Definitely a Kite, there are 2 in your area, the smaller Mississippi Kite and larger Swallowtail Kite, do you have a picture showing all the tail/wingtips? Swallowtail would show 4 points, Mississippi 2 points and a square.
