Green-breasted Mango

Anthracothorax prevostii

Description:

Female sitting inside her nest (presumably incubating eggs), placed on a branch of a Terminalia (beach almond) tree, about 4 meters above the ground .

Habitat:

A narrow barrier beach above high tide line and near the edge of a mangrove estuary.

Notes:

Species was abundant on the Utila island.
