Tropidacris cristata
Tropidacris cristata, a member of Lubber Grasshoppers (Family Romaleidae) A large (4 - 5 inch) Costa Rican Grasshopper, seen a few days after the k=last spotting. It was a different colour.
Tropidacris cristata, but probably not Tropidacris cristata dux, but I am not sure. With Tropidacris cristata you are on the safe side anyway.
