Welcome to Project Noah, ricksroundup, I hope you like the site as much we do; there are many features you can explore: I invite you to go to http://www.projectnoah.org/faq where you will find the purpose and “rules” of Project Noah. There is a blog http://blog.projectnoah.org/ where we post articles from spotters with special insight into different organisms. There are also the chats for help with identification, and to comment on your own and others’ spottings. Look at the global and local missions to put your spottings into:http://www.projectnoah.org/missions Enjoy yourself here, see you around!
Welcome to project noah. Interesting find there. It looks too small to be a rhino skull, in my opinion. Did the shopkeeper have any ideas of where it came from? Did you get photos from the front of the skull so we can have a better idea of the width between the eyes, the shape of the skull, etc? It would sure help to have more photos and more details.

This could go in the Identifying Animals Through Osteology mission at http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8475...
It looks just like a cow skull without horns, and it has that characteristic bump at its top.
