Spotting

I don't think it is the Asian giant hornet, the markings are quite different.

I have the same wasp in my folders and I have marked it as Vespa velutina, but I am not 100% with this ID.

i'll learn more about this hornet, because it similar but have some differences too with Giant Japanese Hornet.

I was born in Japan and there is a subspecies called the Giant Japanese Hornet that looks the same. I encountered the hornet many times in Japan.
