Geometrid moth

Scopula rubraria

Description:

This small moth was cruising around in the grasses in the local state forest. About 25mm across the wings. Note fine antennae - female? - tips not shown.

Habitat:

Dry eucalyptus based state forest.

Thanks Joe. I expect a moth. This one is just 'for the record' as I haven't seen it before. I'll get around to searching sometime or other. (Found too many 'nice' ones today to ignore :-)

Nice one Mark. I would search in moths as for me it's a moth, not a butterfly.
