Spiny Stick Insect, Phasmid - Female

Haaniella echinata


One of the most common Phasmid to be found in Lambir Hills, Haaniella echinata is among the biggest in the Haaniella genus. Females can grow up to 13-14 cm and Males up to 9-10 cm. Both Males & Females have false wings and does not fly.
