Description:

beige moth, see images for size. three stripes along the length with two discontinued on the back of the carapace. The rear edge of the wings is also dark with black spots across the width just above the rear fringe. I thought this one would be more easily identified that it turned out to be

Habitat:

found near light bollards near a garden although the area is both suburban exotica and native remnant coastal dry forests

Notes:

This is a lovely one - we've have tons of cutworms and Bogong moths but this one hasn't visited us yet !
