Description:

A medium sized honey eater. Mostly soft grey with dark face mask, has a distinct, golden yellow beak, legs and patch of yellow behind the eye.

Habitat:

Eucalypt woodland. In this case the leafiest areas of Royal Park, Parkville an urban parkland.

Notes:

Mobile phone pic. One of the most common birds found in this area of parkland. Royal Park near railway line and sporting field.
