I see Wikipedia lists about a dozen options for host plants, several of which we have nearby including; purslane, apple, tomato, elm, and grape.

Amazing amount of variation in the colors of the caterpillar. My daughter wants to take it to school to watch it pupate into the adult moth, so now the question is what to feed it.
