Leopard Slug

Description:

maybe 4 inches long if stretched out; brownish, greyish with dark spots, wrinkled; has 4 tentacles - 2 long 2 short

Habitat:

found in urban garden after rain under rock

Notes:

Leopard Slugs eat leaves, flowers, and fruits of plants. They will also eat mushrooms, carrion (dead animals), and will regularly hunt other slugs. Leopard Slugs have many predators, including: toads, turtles, beetles, birds, flies, and fireflies.
