Pin Cushion Moss

Leucobryum

Description:

My first thought when I see the Pin Cushion Moss is to sit on them. These dense, and tightly packed leaves are thick and narrow, crowed on stems. They form what looks like cushions.

Habitat:

Moist woods; on soil and very decayed wood.
