Male of this species. Under wings plain brown, upper fore-wing with iridescent blue in a dark brown base. Upper hind-wing with a grey patch. The middle two photos show that it depends on the light whether or not the blue is visible, in one pic the left wing part is blue, in the other pic the right wing part. Wingspan 80-90mm
