Description:

I believe this is an AMAZON KINGFISHER. Smallish, rust colored chest with white around the neck and lower belly. long beak Mottled black back.

Habitat:

Hangs around the lake fishing! Sonoran Desert.

Notes:

This is the first time I have seen one of these around here. Have been watching a blue kingfisher for about 2 years.
