Blunt-headed Slug Snake

Aplopeltura boa

Description:

Small Snake, just around half a meter, probably still a juvenile. It didn't slither away when I get close to take some close-up shots and it was constantly flicking out its tongue.

Notes:

Saw 2 different Snakes on 2 separate Night Walks, location is too far apart to be of the same individual. Pic #1 and #2 is of the 2nd Snake, much bigger, around 1 meter, still very thin. Very obliging when I was taking its pictures and facing it directly like 4-5 inches away.

I saw 2 of this Snake on 2 separate Night Walks, on my own when at Mulu National Park.
You probably have a good chance to see them in Mulu National Park, its a very nice place, highly recommended, @dotun55 :)

Yes, @Leuba, in Pic #2 and #4, looks like a dead branch or twig.

Thanks, @ulvalactuca77 and @SukanyaDatta

When stretched out, could be easily mistaken for a twig. Nice shots, as usual Albert.
