Great egret

Ardea alba

Description:

This is one of the most widely distributed egrets. It can easily be spottend both in the northern and southern hemisphere. White egrets and great egrest are easily recognized due to the difference of color in their feet. In this particular case this great egret was standing a few meters away from a white egret so it was easier to spot their differences.
