Yeah it was a guess , this is at the black water national refuge.

Hi there, Grey Herons are not found in North America. I can't see the bird clearly enough in your photo, but if it looks like a Grey Heron, then it is a Great Blue Heron. They are very similar in looks, just found on different continents.
