Laurel Sumac

Malosma laurina

Description:

Has taco like leaves that help hold water in and also it can help get sunlight. Waxy leaves is a fire/drought adaptation that allows water to be held in and fire will take longer to burn through it.

Habitat:

I found it in a dry area with a small source of water.
