Wrentit

Chamaea fasciata

Habitat:

Oak woodland

Notes:

This shy bird’s call is much like a bouncing ball. It has bright like eyes and, like its name, is somewhat of a cross between a wren and a titmouse. It is most often heard calling from inside thick brush in chaparral or woodland.
