Organ pipe mud-dauber

Trypoxylon politum

Description:

Old dauber pipes. You can see the holes where newly hatched insects bored their way out. Different soil types used. Stacked pipes, a little unusual. And on the right, a smart dauber realized she could save on materials if she used the side of an existing pipe as part of a wall in a new one.
