Description:

Solitary. Growing on an old stump. Cap approx. 3 - 4 inches across and stipe approx. 3 - 4 inches.

Habitat:

Pacific temperate rain forest. Firs, Hemlocks, Cedar, Bigleaf Maple, and Red Alder. Understory of Sword fern and Oregon Grape.
