A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Some single and some clumped the largest were about 30mm across. Quite dry on top. Gills pale cream, adnexed, simple; stipe straight, scaly, medium-thick, no ring or volva; cap high with umbo, darker to the centre, striated surface, tan-orange, slightly scaly at the centre... all growing in the open among short grasses and bark and leaf detritus.
Within a nature reserve incorporating stringybark, acacias, pomaderris, pittosporum, assorted woody shrubs and grasses.
... Yet to search for these.... mycena? (a bit robust for those?)
