Senegal parrot

Poicephalus senegalus

Description:

I assume this to be a pet escapee since it is well outside its normal flying range and there are no parrots native to the Western Cape.

Notes:

Photographed in the wild.

Vegetation very different here compared to the tropical areas of West Africa so I think it might struggle unfortunately.
