Indian Silverbill

Description:

Small bird; somewhat like a slender sparrow. Buff-brown upper parts, white under parts, and dark wings. White throat.

Habitat:

We were leaving the dhaba (highway-eatery) when in the vegetation along the boundary at the parking area, I noted some movement. It was a tiny flock of Indian silverbills. One posed prettily for me.
