Color and shape of the bands are different as usually seen in Mylabris pustulata. I have seen orange and red ones, this one is more salmon-colored. In addition I can't see the typical "notch" in the second band. I am really not sure and would not dare to confirm Pustulata. Did you notice these differences, Wilson?

Meloidae, Blister Beetle, most probably a Mylabris sp., but I cannot tell you which one. Mylabris pustulata is quite common in India, but the stripes look somehow different.
