Common Gull nests in a variety of habitats near water but can also be found in urban environments. It breeds in both the larger colonies and as a single pair. This is a recently hatced juvenile. It will take three years until it has the plumage of an adult Common gull.

The gull pair incubate and raise their offspring together. Gull is an omnivore that often forage near humans and can fly long distances from breeding site to find food. Example of food: fish, mussels, earthworms, household waste, insects, flying ants, berries and seeds.
