Mycoheterotrophic orchid getting its nutrients from fungus associated tree roots. Golden orange stems rise from the moss and leaves singly or in clumps.

Habitat:

Mossy understory on the trail in Manning Park called Rhododendron Flats, coast mountains, Pacific Temperate Rainforest.
