Fulvous-breasted Woodpecker (video)

Dendrocopos macei

Description:

Smallish woodpecker. Wings largely black and heavily barred white. Underparts are lightly streaked dirty buff. Red vent.Crown is red in males

Habitat:

There are 3 large water bodies near my house, identified by numbers. This is a kadamba tree (Neolamarckia cadamba) by the side of Jheel (waterbody) 2. The top leafless branches are a bird magnet. Today was a cloudy/rainy day and the overcast sky meant little usable light...so the shots aren't too good.

Notes:

https://youtu.be/9RF5S0IJCEQ Shows two males indulging in some sort of territorial/mating fight. Very choreographed with strategic pauses. It was a very civilized duel. Did not see the female. I hope the video works.
