A meerkat with her baby suckling.

Habitat:

Meerkats live in dry places, such as Africa, where they eat lizards, snakes, scorpions, spiders, plants, eggs, small mammals, insects, millipedes, centipedes , and more rarely, small birds.

Notes:

The tail length is 17 – 25 cm for an adult.
