A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Dark woody, glossy fungus in tiers about 50 to 70 mm wide. The irregular margins were devoid of any algal or mossy covering making them noticeably attractive.
The underside was uneven and covered with minutes short spines that were only obvious on close inspection.
The underside also had droplets of moisture.
Spotted on the trunk of a large eucalypt - damp rain forest
Suggestions for an ID would be most welcome. Thank you.
