Cownose Ray

Description:

Cownose rays, named as such for the appearance of their nostrils and mouths. They're a type of eagle ray. Cownose rays are pretty destructive to clam populations. They are popular in aquaria.

Habitat:

Cownose range have a huge range in the Atlantic and Carribean and Gulf of Mexico. Despite this, they are classified as Near Threatened.
