Copperhead Rat Snake

Coelognathus radiatus

This 2.5m long snake crossed the road when I arrived, but turned around very quickly. I just had time to get one shot. A nice snake head, typical are the face markings behind the eye. Non-venomous snake, feeding on rats and rodents.
