White Slime Mold

Enteridium lycoperdon

Description:

White cotton-looking substance with a sheen on some areas. Growing on debris on the forest floor.

Habitat:

Pacific temperate rain forest of Fir, Hemlock, Red Alder, and Bigleaf Maple. Understory of Sword Fern and Oregon Grape.

Notes:

Doesn't look like any other slime molds I have found.
