Pine Barrens Tree Frog

Hyla andersonii

Description:

Beautiful male calling in a bush. Mostly green body with a brown-gray stripe running from the nose to the front arm. The thighs are spotted bright orange. This is my favorite amphibian in North America and was such a treat to see him calling :)

Habitat:

In a small bush near a pond in the sandhills.
