White-edged Hunter Hawkmoth

Description:

Wingspan about 7cm. Maroon colouration with white lines outlining the forewings and thorax; legs are also white, as is the dorsal line and the two dots on the forewings; abdomen has a paler, orange colouration.

Habitat:

Temple outside Krabi, in southern Thailand. There were many moths at the site, probably attracted to lights overnight.
