Sziki sóvirág

Limonium gmelinii

Grows cca to knee level. When bloom it paints the pasture to a nice purple color.

Have found it bloom sparsely amongst harsh weed, not far from protected natural grasslands.

Hungarian common name is 'Sóvirág' - Saltflower, with two prefix variants; 'Magyar' - Hungarian or 'Sziki' - 'szik' ~ saline grassland.
