Coral pink wheel bug (assassin bug) freshly molted, sunning itself on a mustang grape leaf. The exoskeleton is seen dangling on leaf underside. Taken with iPhone.

Habitat:

Riparian woods, one-half mile from the Colorado River, at Hornsby Bend nature area, Austin, Texas.
